Yorkton Kinsmen and Kinettes Kick Off “Stuff the Bus” Christmas Campaign November 21

Yorkton, SK – The Yorkton Kinsmen and Kinette Clubs are thrilled to announce the launch of their  “Stuff the Bus” Christmas Campaign, bringing holiday cheer and support to local children and families in need. The campaign kicks off Friday, November 21 at Canadian Tire, marking the beginning of a community-wide effort to ensure every child in Yorkton has a gift to open this Christmas.

At the kickoff event, the Kinsmen and Kinettes will be on-site handing out preloaded gift cards to shoppers. Community members are invited to use these cards to shop for a gift for a child in need—and are encouraged to add a little extra if they’re able. Once purchased, gifts will be loaded into the “Stuff the Bus” location at Canadian Tire.

The Stuff the Bus campaign runs from November 21 to December 13, collecting toys and gifts that will be distributed to local families before Christmas through The Salvation Army.

Throughout the campaign, the “Stuff the Bus” team and their bus will be making special appearances at several Yorkton holiday events, including:

“These events are a perfect way for families to come together and share in the spirit of giving,” said Ron Hanishewsky, President for the Yorkton Kinsmen Club. “Every gift donated helps brighten a child’s Christmas morning—and every act of kindness makes our community stronger.”

The Yorkton Kinsmen and Kinette Clubs extend heartfelt thanks to everyone that participates.  The many volunteers, donors, and community members make this fundraiser possible in the Kin Motto of "Serving the Community's Greatest Need".
